ACC Fall 2019 Mobility Program

Anyone receive their petition yet?

I did and registered for the EVC for the second session. Cindy said we would hear in mid June if we're accepted. Thats so late! My job is pressing me as far as the fall schedule, especially since I'm not the only one who applied. I've heard working during this program is really not a good idea... what are you guys doing work wise?

I received a petition April 2. I heard it is hard to work, but not impossible. I will be in the same boat I have to work full-time to support my family.

I won't hear anything until May since I'm an LVN but I am curious if anyone else has heard anything about the nursing skills class at least.

Same here! Looks like we signed up for the same class. Yeah I heard this program is gonna be challenging since it’s accelerated. my coworkers are aware I may not be around much longer but when they pressured me for a schedule I proceeded as if I was staying on full time. Kind of sucks but since they refuse to wait and kinda forced my hand I have to take care of me first, just Incase I don’t get in.

Anyone go and do their fingerprints yet? I have an appointment today I was curious about how long it takes.

I went yesterday. It was really fast. I set my appointment for 4pm after work. I showed up 1 1/2 hours early and they took me back right away. I was there for no more than 5 minutes. The location I went was 7010 W HWY 71

Hey guys! I’m looking at relocating to Austin and I am interested in this program. Can you keep me posted as to the dynamics of the program? Such as class and clinical hours?

One of my friends already got a rejection letter! I thought we were supposed to get rankings before they send out acceptance/ rejection letters. Anyone hear of anyone else getting their rejection/acceptance letter already ?

Oh my gosh no I thought the same as you. Today is the deadline for applications to be submitted. I haven't heard anything after i registered for NSG 1140.

Did any of you already start the basic nursing skills yet?

I’m taking the 1105 in July. I have a question about the non porous shoes required for class......does it have to be danskos/ clogs?
