Can you be more specific? Are you referring to writing papers on the subject of nursing theories or academic writing in general? Do you have specific questions about academic writing?

Do you mean APA style? There are a ton of reference books available - give it a Google.

Even just struggling to answer these requests for clarification will help you, well, clarify your thoughts. We've got a lot of great people who can help you with all of it...but let's focus a bit first :)
Sorry guys for not been specific I've had a resub on an essay it's about critiquing it and using a CASP tool to answer the questions and I got it completely wrong and described the paper rather than analysing n critiquing it , I can't get my head around arguing a research paper
I don't know what a CASP tool is.
Do you know what analysis means? Do you know what critique means? Start there, and you'll have a better idea of what to do next. I think you said you had to read an essay, then analyze and critique this essay. This means, describe the author's premises or initial assumptions before s/he wrote the piece, the essay's strengths and weaknesses, and say what should have been done to make it better/more persuasive. Here's a veery useful website to help you, step by step. Do not fail to do what it says-- you'll learn something, which is kinda the point of being in college. http://www.goshen.edu/english/critique-html/
And please don't take this amiss, because I mean this in the nicest possible way: Please go to your college learning center and get some help in basic English composition, grammar, and punctuation.
