Hi all

I hope you don't mind me saying..... as I am new to the site......? but I get very confused by the abbreviations used......... we are not all from the same country.... so they really don't mean much.......?..... x

I realize that sometimes those who don't speak English as their primarly language find that abbreviations can get lost in translation. Here are a couple of links that I hope can help you out.

If you mean general online abbreviations such as LOL, YMMV, AFAIK, etc.:
