A Sure Fail?

I took the exam yesterday and didnt feel to good about it. I dont take standardized tests very well at all!! I tried the PVT and it went to the cc screen. Does this mean I for sure failed? I took 265 questions and all the classmates of mine only took 75 that I was taking it with. Is there hope or should I know that I failed for sure? HELP PLEASE!!

You won't know until you get your official results or Quick Results, but you probably failed. Don't take it to heart. Lots of people have to test more than once. Relax. Congratulate yourself on having tested. If you have to test again, ok, it should not be such a nerve wracking deal now that you have done it once.

Thanks for the reply! I am trying to keep my head up. I am ADHD and it flared pretty bad when I took it too. I was just hoping a little because my girlfriend takes it Wednesday and I know she will pass. Smart woman!! Guess I will prepare for taking it again in August.

Relax for a couple of days until you know for certain.

Unfortunately the trick was true for me and I failed w/ 265 questions...But atleast we ALMOST passed. Keep your head on straight and try again :) Good luck to you.

JSmith,

Is this Janet from NVCC, VA?

My friends who got the cc screen did, indeed, fail. However, I hope that it is wrong for you and that you passed! Good luck

Please hold on to your hope until you get your official result. My friend took his about two weeks ago, went directly to the credit card page but when he did the quick result (after 48 hrs) he ended up passing! I saw a post the other day that there were two people that went to the cc page and passed. Only 9 more hours and I'll find out to see if PVT truly works!

@m3speed, I know a couple of people who said they pass and didnt. A classmate of mine told me that you can enter anyones name on your states BON and see if someone has a licence or not, and after two weeks it should already be posted. It is a horrible thing, but since its not your experience why not verify. I failed my first attempt and went all the way to the cc page so I'll say it works like the majority of others by personal experience. Were you there with your friend when he/she did the PVT, just asking because maybe they did something different.

Yeah you can check if your name is on the board registry (go to nursys.com)

He knows how to do it and followed the instructions. I don't really know but fo sho he's name is on the boards!

:Be like most nurses and go self medicate yourself. Wine, beer, cocktail. Do it with some friends and maybe a movie. Wait until your results come out before you beat yourself up. :up Stay positive. A test doesn't define who you are.
