A&PII or Micro -8 weeks course???

I need your opinions please....I am trying to finish my prereq before october 2009 and I need to take one of these 2 classes as a 8 weeks class. Which one do you think is easier to be done in such an accelerated course? Does anyone have any experience taking any of them in a 8 weeks class?

I have 2 small kids so I have to study only at night so I hope I can do it

thanks

I took Anatomy and Microbio in 10 weeks at my local community college at the same time. I work full time, so I did the web based course, which meant I spent Saturday mornings in Micro lab and all Saturday afternoon in Anatomy lab, then did all the lectures at home on my own. It was incredible hard, but I made it through with a decent grade. Yes, you will have to study at night and study every free minute you have. Honestly I thought my anatomy class was going to do me in. For those 10 weeks, I didn't go anywhere without my anatomy notes, nor did I sleep much. If you can take them separately I think that would be better, but with like anything else in life if you want to accomplish it, you will find a way to get it done. Good Luck.

I found Micro much harder than A&PII and I took them both at the same time. I would take the A&PII accelerated course, so I could have more time for Micro.

i have two boys 4 and 2 and i also did the 8wk online class. i always preffered doing the late classes because they go faster though intense

Thank you all

Yes I was actually thinking to take them separate and take A&PII as a 8 weeks class....I am just not too sure about Micro. it would help me if I could also take Micro as a 8 weeks class so this way I could finish the other prereq before october

Thanks

I have some questions for you if you dont mind....

How was studying having the kids? do you stay home with them? I do stay home and during the day I cannot really study so the only time I could do it is after they go to bed. Is this enough in rdedr t study for Micro in 8 weeks for example?? did you take this classes online? where

thank you for all your help

I did Micro in 5 weeks and it was very intense, but do-able. If you got an A in A&P I and didn't find it too difficult, you could probably do A&P II in 8 weeks. But either way, you'll have to suspend normal life for 8 weeks. :)

All our gen eds are done in 4 weeks per class....very doable...just study and keep on track.

Well, i did it at community college of denver in colorado. I work in the hospital as a Cna nd my assignment is mostly to baby sit confused patients who end up sleeping all the time, so this gave me time to read and do my homework while earning money

Totally doable! I took A&P 2 in a 4 wk summer class & Micro in 8 wk class! Did great on both! Good luck!
