Twas The Night Before NCLEX

Hey everyone! I'm a newer member to this site but I take my NCLEX tomorrow AM! I am nervous but then again I'm ready to get there and just DO IT! I took the Hurst review but still feel scared that I didn't study enough!... Does anyone have any advice for what to do the night before / the morning off NCLEX.. i.e.- where to sit, bring with you, ways to relive anxiety while sitting there reading questions, what to do if you don't know an answer etc....

THANK YOU !!! :)

Relax and don't study anything. Leave your cell phone in your car. Seriously, don't even take it in the building. If you cry on the way home that's completely normal (for me and everyone I've talked to anyway:p)

If you feel you have to try the PVT trick, read the 139,630,527 threads on it before you do. It will answer any and all questions you have. I say just wait for quick results if your state does that and check your states BoN tomorrow.

Good luck!

Your post has been moved to the NCLEX Discussion forum. Good luck to you!

FYI, members cannot use the 'RN' title unless they actually have RN licensure. This is per our terms of service.

I test tomorrow too! I did Hurst and I too still like I'm unprepared. Best of luck to you!

An others said, don't take ANYTHING with you except your ID and your car keys. A clear see through bottle of water is probably ok. You cannot chew gum, do not wear jewelry, a headband, a hat or a even jacket unless you really need it. Keep your shoes on to prevent getting accused of having answers on the bottom or your feet or socks.

Security is intense and distracting, be prepared for it.

Be prepared for the whole 265/ 6 hours. Hopefully that wont happen, but psych yourself up to think it will so it doesn't freak you out if it does.

For me and most others I have spoken to, it was the most stressful thing I ever did. I left there completely sure that I failed (as do many people), but I passed. Don't let your feelings get in the way of being happy that its over and then find something fun and relaxing to do while waiting for results.

GOOD LUCK!
