Hi my fellow nurses I'm extremely down on myself because I can't find work as a new RN. Recently took my boards here in October. I passed first attempt. Prior to this I worked as an LPN for five years. After working full time, school, family life I've finished. I cannot find a job. I'm so frustrated. Burnt out on long term care. I've revamped my resume. Is it me or nursing jobs hard to find? I've always wanted to be a nurse for as far back as I can remember. I clearly remember being told how big of a nursing shortage there would be. I don't know what to do. Be patient an continue to pray? I'm a mess over this because I feel less than. All of the time, money, and early mornings was it worth it? Words of encouragement needed because I'm an emotional wreck over this. It may seem silly to some, but this is my passion and life long dream. Not in it for the money. Thanks :)
