The good pop up

So I just got done with the nclex like 20 min ago. I did the trick and I got the good pop up... did I do it to soon? Do you have to wait a certain amount of time? I'm in California.

YOU PASSED!!!! I literally did the PVT trick as soon as I walked out of testing center (like 5-10min after i took the test) and got the good pop-up!!!! I paid for the early result 48 hrs later....just to confirm(because I just couldn't stop doing PVT all day and night lol) i passed and PVT works 1000% correctly as long as the exam was "delivered".

For me, I did hurst, the exam cram 2nd edition 1500 questions (no book), the allnurses study thing they have, and kaplan nclex-rn review audio lectures. Hurst Q bank I was getting 58 outta 125, 72 outta 125, 96 outta 125.. exam cram I was getting about 68% right for the most part (I suck at test taking) all over the place scores. I wrote down rationales for each question I missed on both the exam cram and hurst and studied that. Played video games while listening to the kaplan lectures.... I studied for 1 month 6 hours a day every day.

How soon can you pay for the 48hr results?

I can not, I live in cali.

Then there is no result to pay for you must wait until BRN posts your license /sends your letter. Or if PN wait the 2-6 weeks for the pass/fail letter arrives from BVNPT. You can choose whether to believe the unofficial trick...however that is if no use when applying to jobs. You need official notice from the board as to whether you pass. Even quick results are 'unofficial' as that just indicates whether you passed not whether the BoN decided to issue the privilege of a license. (Ex in NJ quick results just mean you passed the NCLEX. NJBoN still has to forward the application, background check and NCLEX pass to board committed for approval. )

Wow, talk about a buzz kill.

California is a hurry up and wait state. But BRN often posts RN licenses online before letters are sent. LVN cannot get license until receive letter and pay fee.
