Nursing Skills I at Austin Community College

I am thrilled and excited to be starting Nursing Skills I (RNSG 1105) at ACC on 05/29.

In the meantime, I am waiting to hear about acceptance (or not) into the Fall 2013 ADN class. I've been really surprised that not a single ACC hopeful for the upcoming class has posted on AllNurses!

Anyway, I have gotten my scrubs, textbook, and skills DVDs--and started working through the Learning Guides posted on Blackboard. After so many prerequisite classes, it feels wonderful to begin an actual nursing class!

Anyone else out there?

I do attend ACC but have 5 more class left before I "enter" into the nursing program. All the best in your success this semester!

I also attend ACC and was wondering why no recent post lol. I'm taking Anatomy (in cypress), Nutrition(in cypress), and Statistics (Riverside). I used ratemyprofessors.com when picking out professors but didn't have much of a choice. ANY ADVICE??

Still need physio, pharm, and micro before applying for program, right? Had been going part time focusing on work load and getting A's but now thinking should have just packed it on and been ok with B's to start applying!!! I have my CNA and cpr cert so thinking just start working in the mean time. GOOD LUCK TO ALL YOU WHO HAVE APPLIED!!! UR ALMOST THERE!!!!
