I just finished my 2nd year at sac state with only a 2.75 GPA. I still need 3 more prereqs to finish to apply for their nursing program but obviously I won't be able to with my low GPA and require for applicants to have at least a 3.0. And even if I do meet the 3.0 they probably still won't accept me because majority of applicant's GPA are well above 3.4-4.0. I have applied to Pacific Union College (private) and received my acceptance yesterday (because i thought a small school would benefit me) but now my parents are telling me not to go because it isn't worth the 33,000 for tuition. (which i guess and i agree on). They tell me to just finish my prereqs at a community and receive my AA degree. But the thing is, it's almost impossible to get the classes that I need, and the nursing program that I live near has a 2 year wait list. (Napa Valley and Solano).
Any ideas? I'm stressing over this.
