Law and Order: SVU = studying.

At least Once a week, I read something for class and realize that i already know it because of SVU! Anyone else notice this?

Example: Misoprostol should not be used in women who are pregnant or may become pregnant r/t the risk of uterine contraction.

Has anyone else learned anything (that you verified as true) from your fav TV show?

Yes! I've learned a few things from Grey's!

I remember that episode of SVU! There was another episode about Tay-Sachs disease which also came in handy. During psych, I found I already know a lot about mental disorders from movies and tv.

I loved being able to follow along while watching "Contagion."

I know the exact episode you are referring to, that med student was a jacka** wasn't he? I agree with a previous poster about the familiarity with different psychiatric conditions because of my slight addiction to Law and Order SVU.

That guy was ridiculous. He would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for those meddling detectives.

You guys brought up a great point that SVU will be helpful in my Psych rotation. Now i will not feel so bad for binge watching. It is research!

You're the only other person I've come across that enjoys bingeing on SVU, we should get married asap.

Count me in on the SVU binging. I could watch that show every day, all day! Nice to know it will help me in my studies. lol

when i was in school, it was Grey's first season. Remember the episode where Izzy was drilling burr holes on a MVA patient on the interstate? Yeah, i knew exactly what she was doing...and i was like, that's wrong!

I love watching law & order in all forms, always interesting cases.

Only if we can get Mariska Hargitay to officiate.

Our first disagreement, I believe Richard Belzer is better suited for the responsibility.
