jobs for ADN nurses?

just wondering if anyone knows of any hospitals in the valley that hire ADN nurses:)

All of them do. You might see BSN preferred in job ads, but a BSN is not required.

I agree with Hoozdo. I am a CNA at Banner and almost all of the nurses hired on my floor in the last year were ADN nurses. I know most of the magnet hospitals prefer BSN for their magnet status, but you can apply almost anywhere.

Good luck!!!

hi,,just finished a refresher program, i am an adn right now too..i just got a full time job at a good p/t hospital..there are lots of them out there..If you must be at a big hospital, just keep putting your apps out there! I have to say the pay where I am is very very good, excellent benefits, insurance, tuition reimbursement, etc. I am going to working on my BSN-MSN/NP over the next few years so this is I feel a fantastic opportunity. As far as skills go, I have done absolutely everything within the scope of nursing in the first month, it's never boring.. I've done everything from using my acls to nail care and literally everything in between lol.. love the pts and their families,, you really get to know people in this setting, so being a people person is a good thing..

Thanks for the replies :)

With all the posts on how impossible scoring a job is in Arizona I am hesitant to even start school. I truly feel as though this is the field I am meant to be in, so I'm still gonna go for it. I can't wait!
