UCSF 2012 MSN/FNP applicants

HI all!

So any working RN's gong from a BSN to a MSN with FNP? I applied for the 2012 fall UCSF MSN/FNP and was wondering how many others have done so?

I went to an information meeting earlier this year and there were a lot of people in the meeting, mainly young women going for their first RN and the MEPN program. I think there were only about 3 or 4 actively working RN's in the group. I asked the speaker what the split was between the MEPN and MSN/FNP students that already have their RN and was told that they had a difficult time recruiting working RN's in the program in years past but now its about 50/50.

I also applied at UCD FNP/PA program for 2012.

Yes I also applied to the Pediatric Advanced NP program. I was also wondering how many appicants they normally take per specialty and when we will find out?

I am about to apply for the post masters AGNP program for the fall. they have not sent out the applications yet, i wonder if anyone out there is applying for this. I have 3 years med-surg telemetry experience and can't wait to go back for my NP in adult primary care. Anyone already accepted from last year or know anybody in this program? i am anxious to know my odds. also applied to UCLA but do not want to relocate at the moment. (i live in SF)

I finished my application for the MS/AGNP program as well, and am dying to find out what the status is! Of course, the application say "Under Review" for now. Anyone else going for the traditional MS with the AGNP specialty?

Hi guys! I have applied for the Fall 2012 MSN/ACNP program. Anybody have any idea when we might hear back?

I was informed by the Nursing Student Affairs that early April was the soonest they would start notifying

Thank you for the info LuxCalidaRN. I am applied for the MSN/Advanced Practice Public Health nursing program. Good luck to you all!

Thanks for the update! And so the waiting game continues...

I also applied to the FNP. The waiting is killing me...Last year some people found out in late March. I hope they are ahead of schedule...

I applied to FNP at CSULA and UCLA; the waiting is the same for us. I'm a working RN in SoCal-I know you all are in NorCal. Wish you all luck!

Anyone heard anything yet? Nothing here...

Nothing yet. Anxiously awaiting. What specialty did you apply for whereintheworld?
