Has anyone heard anything from Baylor about the January 2012 internships? I applied the first day the internships opened (Oct 3) and got an email saying they have a high volume of applicants and that I may not be contacted immediately. I was just wondering if anyone has already gotten calls for an interview or if I need to stop worrying and be more patient haha.

I applied Oct 4th and haven't heard anything yet.

I have friends who got rejection notices fairly quickly. They are going to be ADN graduates though.

They started phone interviews last week and now they are scheduling face to face interviews for most of the specialties like NICU, Perinatal, Medsurge, and Tele. They want to have face to face interviews for all internships by the last week in October. ER internship had over 600 applicants so it may take more time to sort through those. Hold tight you should receive a call any day now.

I applied for the ER internship as well, got the same generic email as the OP. My friend had a phone interview on friday for Telemetry, so I guess this is pretty standard!

I applied October 9 and got the same generic email, but recieved an email the next day wanting me to schedule a phone interview!!

FYI, I have a friend who had a screening interview for transplant last week, one who has one tomorrow for tele, and another who interviews for NICU next week. Anything new with y'all? Hope it is going well!

Nope... I still haven't heard anything from the ED.

I haven't heard anything about the ED, either. I will let you know if/when I do! I hope they call you soon!

Stillwaiting123 I applied for the ED and Med Surg. In the phone interview they asked which one I preferred and I told them ED. I have a face-to-face interview scheduled for next week but they didn't specify for what position.
