I used SG101 and the Saunders & I also did the practice exam.... know your peds & meds.

I also used SG101 and practice exams, This test was not too bad it was more of a review from LPN school.

I am worried about this test. I got a 72 and a 78 on the practice exams but I really don't feel like I have a good hold on it. I am using SG101, flashcard exchange, Saunders, the Olds Maternity Nursing text and the Wong's/Hockenberry Peds text. Peds was always hard for me. Am I over thinking this?? I test Tuesday.

You got good scores for both exam. I have no advise to give since i'm just reading the materials. I am using the materials except flashcard exchange. Just have faith and confident in yourself and good luck next week.

@ Beachnurse84 how long did it take you to prepare for this exam?

@Blakey, I am pushing it this month... I took Chronicity and LS1 this month also. I have taken about 10 days to prepare.

Good luck to you also!!! Check out flashcardexchange, lots of good info on there!! :-)

I agree with WestPalm, know yr peds & meds. Also, know congential anomalies. The EC practice test was VERY helpful! Pretty straightforward test...imo

Taking LS1 next wk. For those who have taken it recently, how was EC practice test compared to the actual?? I read some where on one of these threads that it wasn't as helpful as the Essentials. This will be my first from Health Differences series. Will appreciate any input =)
