Questions

Hi I am a 31 year old nursing student. I will graduate May 2004.

I am feeling very stressed. I am interested in relocating to NC upon graduation. How do you apply for a job as a RN before you actually graduate so that when you graduate you have a job to go to?

I believe most hospitals hire you under the title of "graduate nurse" & give you a certain amount of time to pass the nclex. If you don't pass, I've heard of them demoting you or lowering your pay. Not sure what it's like in NC. Try calling a few places you are interested in working & ask them what the procedure is with a new graduate.
