Nclex-PN waiting list in CT

I am currently waiting for my ATT number so I can schedule my test date for my NCLEX-PN, but I heard that Pearsonvue has a 2 month waiting list in CT right now, cause they are so booked. Does anyone know if its true, and is there anyone waiting to take their NCLEX-PN.:clown:

I don't know if the wait is the same for LPN as it is for RN, but I will share my recent experience with you.

I went to school out of state, graduated with BSN in December. I submitted all of my materials and registered with Pearson Vue the beginning of April, and I received my ATT approximately a week and a half later. So in my case once all of my materials were received, getting the ATT was pretty speedy. I was able to schedule my NCLEX within days of receiving the ATT. I didn't, I chose to wait until May 1st to test, but I could have tested 3 days after getting my ATT.

Because graduations have just happened recently, however, it is possible that it is holding things up.

HTH.

This was very helpful. I needed to hear some positive feedback to boost me back up. This wait is killing me. Thank you so much. I will pass this on to my fellow classmates who are also going crazy.:coollook:

You're welcome. The wait is certainly killer. Hopefully you will get it soon so you can finish everything and be licensed.

No, Im only licensed in CT, but I was able to take the test in MA. Pearsonvue said I can take the test anywhere cause they are all connected, but your only licensed in the state that you apply for.

As long as the pearsonvue center dispenses NCLEX (not all do or didn't used to do) doesn't matter where in the world you are or which state you applied to you can sit the exam once met requirements and have eligibility.

Can you apply for two states at the same time for example if I wantd to be registered in CT and NY.?

Regi

I would say you are better applying to one state, meeting requirements and then once passed NCLEX and have a license then endorse and meet other state requirements
