Duke Raleigh Hosptial

Hi there!

I am going to graduate with my BSN in May (yay!), and I have an interview lined up at Duke Raleigh Hospital. I was wondering if any one could offer some insight into what it is like working there. I know it is a smaller hospital- I am ok with that! Any input would be wonderful! Thank you!

I worked on the psych unit when it was there for 5 years in a non nursing job. Its a great hopsital and I loved working there. I briefly worked as a CNA on the Medsurg floor and it was busy. I think you will like it there.

Thank you for your reply! I was actually offered a position and am still deciding whether or not to accept. Do you know anyone who currently works there?

No I don't know anyone who works their now. I would say take it if you don't have any more offers. Its hard for new grads to get positions so I would not wait around to long. I just got a job offer at Wakemed Raleigh. I start April 20th. I live in Clayton and also got job offers at 2 other local hospitals. Good Luck and Congratulations!

Pumpkin...did you apply for the GEMS program or another RN job?

Did you accept the job? How are things going?
