While I await the bureaucrats here in Georgia to answer my questions I thought I would pose two here:
Delegation:
Law in part reads:
...shall include a provision for immediate consultation with the delegating physician or a physician designated in the absence of the delegating physician;....
Does the name of the doctor need to be in writing on my protocol or could it be assumed (as in covered in SOP by which the entire agency operates).
Can't find a thing that covers this...
Infirmary patients:
Admissions/rounds. Is there a limit in the time between when a NP sees/admits a patient and the doctor must make rounds on the patient?
