CNA CA state board info.

Hi everyone!

I just graduated from a local Lpn school and I am preparing for the NCLEX. However, I need a job ASAP.....I would like to get a CNA license. I just need to take a state board test but I don't know where to contact.

If you have the california state board for CNA info, Please let me know.

Thanks!:nurse:

I just passed the CA CNA exam; it is given by ARC (American Red Cross). Contact your nearest facility to see where they will be giving their next test. Good luck!

There are some LTC facilities that hire GVN nurses. Which means you're working as a VN while you wait to take your boards. That would be better since you're just waiting to take your boards. Don't take the CNA exam, you can make more money as a Graduate Vocational Nurse. It's not an IP, but basically you work side by side with another nurse but you can't pass meds, or do treatments. But you can help them. Good Luck
