They always told us to use action verbs like "supervised", "implemented", "responsible for", "participated in", "developed", etc.

I don't know if this helps, but for personal qualities, supervisors are always looking for " work well in a fast paced environment, well organized, motivated, excellent verbal and written communication skills" no matter what type of job you are applying for.
