Hi there, it's me. Thank you for asking about me. I'm doing ok. Still don't feel really well, but I'm sure it's due to 32 days of bedrest (and still counting of course). My whole body feels sore, & when I do get up for the bathroom or to eat, I just feel exhausted. I have just constant headaches. I usually have migraines anyway, but can't take my regular meds for that right now. The MD gave me tylenol 3 for them, but they don't do anything for the headache and they make me vomit everytime I take one. That and the depression is really setting in. I try not to think about the fact that I have about three more months of this if all goes well. That seems like such a long time. I miss work even, isn't that weird?

Thanks again for checking on me. I'm hanging in there, and baby Gage (that's the name we've decided on: Gage Christian) seems to be doing just fine too. He's moving around a lot, kicking the crap out of his mother, lol.

Be blessed!

Hang in there Lou!

(btw, have they tried Vistaril for the headaches? Andrea had them almost constantly the first 6 months of her pregnancy...it was the ONLY thing that helped)

Actually, no, I hadn't thought to ask my OB about vistaril. Maybe I'll ask him about that when I go for my appt next week. Thanks for the idea.

I had hubby take me for a drive today. I just couldn't stand it anymore. I needed to breathe some fresh air, and see some sunlight, and just be out of the house for a few minutes. It was lovely! I think I'll do some baby shopping online now to keep myself entertained.

Lou,

I'm not sure if this helps - but we've gotten 20" of snow in the last 24 hours and now have 40-50 mph winds - and I'm STILL home on medical leave!!

Maybe we can slowly go nuts together!!(ha ha)

Anyways, Good luck! Glad you could get out today.

RNLou, cute babies name you have picked out !

Take Care,

mkue

lindaisanurse, I don't know about slowly going nuts together, but do you feel like taking the speedy express to loony town. Slowly going nuts sounds a little bit behind where I am at this point. :)

Thanks, mkue. I like the name we've decided on. I also liked the name Forrest, but couldn't get my hubby to go along with that one. He said he's afraid people just wouldn't be able to resist going, "Run, Forrest, Run." I told him I could refrain from doing that but. . . .
