Question about a great study aid on the go?

Hey,

Since it's spring, I like to go out in nature a lot and was wondering if there was a good study aid, preferably flashcards, that I can use when I'm out. I'm reading Saunder's now but it's too big to carry around if you know what I mean.=D This way, I can just stick the flash cards in my purse and study periodically when I'm out. They also will come in handy by the pool.

Yeah I guess I can make the flash cards up. I could have sworn that I read somewhere on here about a study aid made of flashcards that were noted to be very good, but can't remember the name.:stone

Good luck on your test Sunkyst08!!!!:)

--what i used "on the go" which was EXCELLENT, was fryes bullet book..it has like 3000 nursing facts. its compact and it mixes up the various areas.

i carried everywhere i went--and even read some at night before going to bed.

my wife used the same book and recommended it to me.

how about mp3s? you can simply just save it on your mp3 player and listen to it anytime, everywhere you feel like...flash cards are excellent too but if you're getting bored with it,there's always an alternative... :nuke:

VongoNotes. I know Mary Hogan Book Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN has parts of the her book on VongoNotes so you can download all or some of the notes if your on the run. I havent tried it yet. I am more of a visual learner then an auditory learner.

I hope this helps.

Saunders has cards that are very easy to take with you. They even come with a plastic pouch to put some cards in and go. I bought them right before my final and we used them to study. They are terrific! They're the Saunders Q & A Review Cards for the NCLEX-RN. I got mine at Borders, but Amazon has them as well. I take the NCLEX in 2 weeks and have been using them.

thanks

that is a really great site, wish i knew about it during A&P and micro courses
