Dallas Nursing Institute, sound off!

:spin:Yay! School starts Sept 4th! Hooray for nights and weekends! I went in for my advisement/FA mtg. the other day. The Federal aid is all under way, no need to worry, they WILL give you the money. The only thing is that, being a private proprietary school, the feds can only cover 90%, which leaves us lowly students to cover 3,700 to be paid in 10 months. one can take out a private loan, (try Sallie Mae's Tuition Asnwer Loan, or StudentLoanExpress.com) I do not meet the requirements for a private loan-crappy credit plus my mom makes too much, so my parents are going to pay my installments for me, hallelujah! I hate being 26 and having to ask for money from the 'rents, but she KNOWS it is for the best. Don't forget the 100 down when you sign your contract. If y'all are going for this program ,you better get in there soon for your meetings! there are only 25 spots. Let me know who else is doing it! Good luck! (don't forget to take your 2006 tax return, your HS diploma or GED, and your social security card. you will have to fill out the FAFSA there if you haven't already. I strongly suggest doing it ahead of time on the internet. much faster.)
