TWU letters?

Hey. Does anyone know when TWU will send out their letters for fall 2006? If you know, PLEASE let me know! Thanks!!

I applied for the one in Dallas, and they told us we would hear something by the end of March or beginning of April. Last semester they posted the date they would send out letters on the website a couple of weeks before. Hopefully it will be pretty soon, but I doubt it since they pushed the deadline back to the end of January. Good luck!

a girl in my women's lit class said she called twu-h to ask if they had fixed a discrepancy in her transcript and they told her she was in (she has NOT gotten a letter yet). i have no details but those, but if it's true, i imagine they will send letters very soon. i think she's holding out for ut-h though...

i wonder how many people eat up letters from schools they don't really want to go to?

so you mean she called the school and they told her she got accepted? i wonder if i could do that...what do you think?

it's possible. they might be really ugly with you though, as i'm sure they have LOADS of people calling. she wasn't calling to see if she was accepted...she was settling a credit hour dispute, and the person on the phone told her "oh by the way....you're in".

i'm not sure what sort of results you might get if you called. i say wait it out. you don't appreciate the sweet without the bitter!

hey again. that's crazy..i just called the school and asked if they have made any decisions as far as accepting for the fall 2006 and the lady in charge of admissions so no they're still processing everything and that she hopes to know by the middle of this month. i just dont see why they would tell your friend that she got in if they havent even gone through everything. did she get into the main twu or twu schoool of nursing? b/c you have to apply to the main unversity and get accepted before you can apply to the nursing school. oh well, i dont know. good luck to you!

twu-h son. again...this is going on what she told me in class. it may or may not be true, and she may or may not have misunderstood the person she spoke with on the phone. gosh...i hope my post hasn't started a rash of people calling twu today!!

I received my acceptance letter today. The letter was dated 3/3/06, but was mailed on 3/10/06......This was for the TWU Dallas program.

congr..:balloons: to the future TWU nursing students... Enjoy your free time.. b4 nursing school

Thank you foxyhill21!

I hope the rest waiting to hear back from TWU (Dallas or Houston) get the same letter I did. If you don't get accepted, don't give up hope. This wasx my second app with TWU. Last time I was accepted for Houston but not Dallas and I can nt afford to move to Houston so I waited for the Fall 06 class.

I got my acceptance letter for TWU-Dallas! I'm so glad the waiting is over.

Congrats to everyone who has gotten into the program. Make sure you have all of the fun you can this summer, because next semester is going to be a tough one. If you can you should take patho over the summer if you haven't taken it already. Good Luck!!!!

Thanks msjoseph. I am in Patho now. Hopefully that will help come September. I also work full-time - I am so ready to give my notice.
