Hello I have a question about a school changing a grading policy and if it's worth trying to fight it. During my first semester of nursing school to pass we only needed a 75% or higher in the class. When we came back for 2nd semester they changed the policy and said you need a 75% exam average and a 75% in the class to pass. Well about 1/2 our class has now failed after the final because of this. Most have over 75% in the class but the exam average isn't high enough. For example I have a 76.3% in the class but the final put my exam average at at 74.65% so I failed. Since this is something they instituted mid program instead of starting it for he next round of students in their first semester and letting everyone else continue how it was is that worth fighting? To be honest our school has changed their curriculum so much that it is a terrible school to go to anymore and many students that passed are even transferring out but I hate for all the hard work we put in to be thrown away if there is a chance we could get something changed.
