I have dealt with sweaty and hands and feet my entire life! It's extremely annoying, embarrassing, and gross! My mom even recalls not putting sandals on me as a baby because they would slide right off most of the time due to sweat, so it's not an anxiety issue. It's just hyperhidrosis.
I worked as a waitress for a couple years and was nervous about carrying the trays when my hands would sweat. I learned to balance the trays, problem solved! Wellllll, at my current job at a clinic, I have to wear latex and nitrile gloves. Also, I'll of course have to wear them even more as a nursing student/nurse! My hands don't constantly sweat, it's mostly when I'm warm or hot, but I'm almost always hot while working from running around. I don't always have the option to wash my hands or wipe them with paper towels right before putting gloves on, and I know I certainly won't in nursing, either.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? How did you solve it? I've looked into the surgeries for it, but I honestly just don't have the time or money for it right now. Has anyone used Drisol or CertainDri with good results? I bought some CertainDri, but I'm not quite sure how to use it for my hands...
