I have been working really hard these past few years and am now ready to apply to the CT Community College Nursing Program (NCC). My current GPA is a 3.69, with a B+ in AP1 and a 72.7 on the TEAS. I just took the TEAS this past Saturday and am going to retake it in 2 weeks to see if I can score in the 80s. I have already registered for the retake However, if I don't get a better score, are my current scores good enough to land a seat? I want this soooo bad!!!!! Has anyone been accepted to the CT community colleges with similar scores? Any input? I am so nervous and just want to be accepted. Thanks in advance.

Don't mind me hijacking, I'd like to add one more question.. Are certain campus is easier to get in to based on number of apps/numbers of seats available?

Speaking from experience: Accepted to Bridgeport Hospital SON (one of the most competitive and ONLY diploma program in the state. 4 months away from finishing with a BSN.

My stats were very similar: GPA:3.8 TEAS: 75 (that was when the test 1st changed in 2012, when a 60+ was praised)

Tremendous extracurricular, tremendous recommendations and for the most part well rounded individual and background.

I also lend a lot of credit to my admissions essay. You should do some research on what factors the school your trying to apply to considers most. Some places use scoring systems and some places solely base decisions off of academics. Sometimes working in the medical field can land you some extra points --- all depends. Your credentials look pretty good to me!Community colleges tend to be pretty competitive also because they have a struggle for seats-- and also its the cheaper route.
