WSU Nursing Program Fall 2016

Published

I have applied for WSUs nursing program in Spokane and I was feeling alright with my application and I have a 3.75 GPA but, I just took the TEAS test and did not do even close to how well I wanted. I scored a 71.3 and now I'm just worried that score may take me out of the running for getting in. I was just wondering if there are any WSU students who have heard of someone scoring low on the TEAS and still getting an interview?

I honestly think your GPA will get you an interview. Your score really isn't bad either. I got a 74 and had a GPA of 3.5 and got in. If you're worried about the minimum TEAS score or any other questions, contact Renae Richter @ [email protected]. She is a ton of help for new students [emoji3]

Thank you so much. That really helps put my mind a bit at ease, and thank you also for the contact info to someone at WSU that is very helpful!

You're more than welcome! If you have any other questions, let me know :)

I applied for Fall 2016 as well. I scored a 72% on the TEAS but my cumulative gpa is only a 3.5, so I'm not super hopeful. Seems like my entire school applied for the Spring 2016 start though so I'm hoping some sort of miracle happens. Good luck!

Well good luck to you!! I'm dying here waiting for my interview letter to come in this week. I'm really hoping I get one. Where did you do your prereqs?

I got my interview letter yesterday! I applied to the Tri cities campus. I was surprised since my GPA is 3.2. My pre req GPA is a 3.8, and I got an 80.4 on my teas.

I didn't get an interview :( Hope you get one though! I did my pre-reqs at EWU

What's everyone planning on for attire and to bring to the interview? Any current and/or former students have any tips for the interview?

Anyone have their interview tomorrow?

I have mine tomorrow. Little nervous lol!!

Good luck! What are you planning on bringing besides what's necessary? I'm sure that the attire is pretty formal. Is it a long commute?
