WOW !

I have read numerous posts about getting accepted to Nursing School...and have almost been able to feel the

excitment from the posters about their accomplisments...I wondered what I would feel like if and when it happened to me...

Nothing could have prepared me for opening the mail yesterday and reading....

Congratulations...you have been granted Full Enrollment for the ADN Program of the Class of 2009 !!

My CC doesnt have additional testing over and above the pre reqs.

You have to have completed minumally A&P 1 with a C or better, maintain above

a 2.5 GPA and have your application time stamped.

When they pick the incoming class they look at application,

make sure you met req ie: drug testing, criminal backrounds pre req's titers ect.

Then its basically 1st come 1st serve.

My app was put in April 2008, I have been taking classes I would need while in the program

as I was waiting so as not to have it on my plate during Nursing 101-104.

So I have completed

Chem

A&P 1

Math

English

Psyc

Soc

Am currently in A&P 2, done in 3 weeks YEAH.

I do have a good GPA...however thats not how my CC chooses the class, So I dont have composites to share.

Still grinning ear to ear !!!!!!!!!!!
