got the good news today...i passed the nclex-rn!!!
it was four weeks ago when i started a thread saying that i really feel down and don't know what to do. i chose not to tell many even my closest friends that i am sitting for the test. the only support i have that time is my hubby and this site...this site becomes my friend, teacher, adviser...and even my diary! but thanks god! my worries are over!
i stopped at 145 q's with only 2 sata, 1 computation, lots of prioritization/delegation/infxn control and pharmacology. i was really upset when i stepped out of the testing centre. i thought, after all the preparations i've done for this test, i didn't perform good enough on the test. i was so down! the worst thing is, i've got nobody to lean on (other than my husband who doesn't really understand what nclex is!) but this site. i jotted down every single question i remembered form the test in a piece of paper on y way home. and when i get the chance, i consulted my saunders book and to my despair, i am sure i missed some easy questions. i said to myself, all i have to wait for is miracle so i can pass this test. i don't want to go through the same experience again.
i had sleepless nights waiting for the result...i can't concentrate so much at work so all i can do is pray, pray...and pray.
i always say in every post that "prayers can move mountains"...and it does! god is really good and he answered all my prayers.
for those who are waitng to take nclex, i'd like to share my little equation...
"little bit of knowledge + little bit of confidence + little bit of strategy and lot and lots of prayers = success!"

Congrats to you...Prayers is the only weapon I have now....Hoping that I will pass too.... I am holding on to my faith because I know that is the only thing left for me to hold on at this moment.

thanks. it's really hardwork preparing for the test. I am working full time (preferred night shifts so i can study).
This is my first time taking the NCLEX. I also used Saunders and it's really good for the contents. If you can access Kaplan Trainers, that's also a big help. Do practice questions and people are right, you have to read every single rationale coz you will learn from there. Read the Kaplan Strategy book. On my last week, I read a lot about Infection Control, Delegation, prioritization from Saunders. This really helps! with Pharma, I need a good 1 week to classify the drugs and sing them when I read the medications. I hate Pharma, but at the end of the week I know I learned a lot, not only for NCLEX but for my daily work in the ward.
Good luck to you!
If I can be of any help, just PM me...I'll be glad to help you.

Damn, if prayers can move mountains and make you pass the NCLEX, then haleluiah, pray for me as well...actually give me as many prayers as you can.
That is awesome news, I am happy for you but I still need to find out my results.
