Worried about my past!!

Hi there! I am new here and have been stressing out so badly for days and need other opinions. I am an LPN from NY, 4 years ago, I was 19 and made a stupid mistake and got arrested. I got 3 misdemeanor charges and had one year probation. I was allowed to finish my LPN program and was given my LPN license with no pRoblems at all. I had to send a letter with my application explaining what happened and never had an issue. I will be applying for RN school in a few months and worry will they accept me and if they do will I be able to get my RN license with no problem? If it is the same state and same BON I'm hoping it will be ok just as it was for my LPN. Any thoughts?

PS. I also got a job in a hospital after I passed my LPN NCLEX, so if I passed their background check does it look promising for my RN?

Will move to Nursing LIcensure with Criminal History

If the BON approved you for your LPN license with no restrictions, I am sure you will be fine applying to take the NCLEX-RN, provided you do not add to your criminal history before that time. As for getting into school, that is something you need to check with the school you're applying to specifically. Good luck!
