Workone and CNA program

I called my Workone office and asked them if they have any programs or classes that i can take to become a CNA. They told me I have to go to an orientation to see how it is done and the assistance. Anyone else know about this and how it is done??

This program sounds like a similar one here in Georgia. I can't quite remember the name of it. Going to their orientation will probably be good to do. I attended the program in Georgia and although they didn't help me with funding (every case is individual) this is where I got the information that made me decide to seriously pursue a nursing career.

f.y.i. . .in most states the department of health maintains and administrates the nurses aide registry (the cnas). you can wait and go to this orientation. or, you can contact your state office and get the information from them. the state office can also give you a list of all the state approved cna training programs in the area where you live. i would have tried to get this information for you, but you don't list the state you are in, so you'll have to find this information yourself. here is a link that gives the addresses and phone numbers of all the official state nurse aide registries. i'm sure you'll find your state on the list.
