  1. Okay so I am currently at Ivy Tech in northwest indiana. I am doing my pre-reqs now. I was going to apply to get into the ASN RN program in august. I have heard so many things about getting into the program. Its a wait, its ahrd to get in..blah blah...So..I called valporaiso Universiy and got all my transcripts and everything sent to them and everything. I need to take my anp 2 & my chem class which I am taking in jan. They accepted me into their BSN program! I start in august..DOWN SIDE: Very expensive and its gonna be a 4 years instead of 2. I can apply for the accelerated after im done with my 2 semesters of nursing. And the drive is about half hour - hour away! Question: SHould I still apply for Ivy Tech nursing program? I planned on going back for my BSN anyhow! Thanks!!
  2. Are there any RN programs offered that you get rite into the Nursing Program? I am niot wanting to wait. I am currently at Ivy Tech and last I heard its extremely hard to get into the RN program and Im not wanting to do the LPN bridge. Any Ideas? Thanks!

  5. I am currently taking my pre-reqs at ivy tech in gary. I want to become an RN. The problem is that they only accept 25 students in to the program so there is a wait. I was considering Trying to get into the LPN in august "09" and then when i am done with that then bridge over. If I take all my classes andtry and get in the RN program that wont be till jan "10" when i would be able to get in, if i was accepted. I want to see what other options i have. If anyone has any advice i would reall appreciate it. Thanks! i just want to get done!
