Working during ABSN program???

I plan on doing an acellerated MSN program at Rush this winter. A friend at work is in a similar program at DePaul and she works part-time (usually 2-12s a week). I was wondering if anyone else out there is doing this. My senior year as an undergrad I worked full-time (3-12s) and had a full load of classes including several 300-level biology classes. It was hell but I survived and with good grades (don't ask how that happened :wink2:). Any advice or opinions on working while in school??? Thanks.

Working during an accellerated program will be as you say "hell". It's not advisable, but you know what you can do and what your budget needs. We had a tech work during her program, but she was constantly calling off and maybe wound up working 12-hours a month because she had so much work to do.

Good luck.

I am starting an accelerated BSN program June 2nd at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. I've thought a lot about whether or not to work..and I have decided against it. I'd rather sacrifice money than my sanity!
