It's both. I'm currently working full time and attending a fast track LPN course that lasts two semesters. My grade is sitting on the line between A and B and my clinical instructor is satisfied with my performance.
I am TIRED and ready to be off for the summer, but I'm getting it done so far.
That's the way my course is I have summers and holidays off like public school schedule, what school are you attending ?

Ha ha..... Apparently I hurted somebody's wittle feelings......
Anyway, OP, many people have worked and gone to school at the same time. A good support system is crucial. I couldn't do this without a lot of help from my husband and tons of patience from my kids.

It's extremely hard and tiring I work full time and school full time I'm also a commuter 114 miles south of home but you have to do what you have to do! If you don't have to work don't do it but I work for my health benefits.
Unfortunately I have to work to pay for school, but am going to try and work only part time I think full time will be too much since I have 2 boys and a husband and 2 dogs í ½í¸

Part time is definitely doable. As a CNA, you may be able to find employment that not only works with your school schedule but also offers tuition reimbursement. Something to think about anyways. Once you are down to just clinicals left, full time is possible as well...it's just all the time in the earlier part of the program where you are taking in so much new information. You may not have much of a life, but it goes by quick.

I am using my employer's tuition assistance, but I had to work for them for a year before I qualified to receive it. So that's something else to consider too.
Good Idea did not think abou that..,
