any words of advice for LS3?

My last nursing exam is on 3/16 for LS3, any advice?? Seems like the easier one of the 3...no? So far I have dowloaded SG101 notes and am going through my med/surg book. Any info from those who have just taken it is welcome! Can't wait to be finished...now if I could only finish my 3 non nursing courses....blagh!:icon_roll

i was determined to be finish with the exams by 8/31/11. i took LS2 on 8/23 it was hard but i got a b after studying for a while. i took LS3 on 8/30. minimal studying, and got a b. just to say that it was hard but not as hard as LS2. youre almost there. we're rooting for you.:)

sg101 sucks for ls2 and ls3. I would focus more on the books or other aids.

Good to know!! I never use JUST SG101, it's not enough info....thanks for the heads up!:heartbeat

Studying for this one too, also schedule for March. Good luck! I read the med-surg text n took notes. Now i'm doing questions after reviewing each section for a week.

I used SG101 and the practice exams for LS3 and failed it with a D. Getting ready to retake it, using the practice exams, Med Surg text, Flashcard exchange, MS made incredibly easy....etc. Mainly MS text and practice exams.....

Edited to add: Notice I said I am using the practice exams again to study even though I failed the first time....just wanted to point that out :)

LS3 seems like easier material than LS2 to me. I do a ton of wound care at work so the tissue trauma seems easy and the infectios disease part seems simple too, not too sure about the other 2 parts..haven't got that far yet. I def. do the practice exams every time....they are invaluable. Good luck to both of you testing on this one!!!:redbeathe
