Withdrawal Question Please!!!

Published

Hi my name is Brittany I'm in my first year of college at broward college doing my nursing prerequisites and my question is I might have to withdraw from a class because of transportation issues but the class is art appreciation. I know its not a prerequisite but will it hurt me in the future? Especially with wanting to get an a nursing program and wanting to transfer to a university?

You can withdraw and take it again. Withdrawing is always better than failing.

Thank you for your feedback xoxo!

short answer "no" especially if its not a NUR course. Agree with keylimesqueez.

Thanks for the feedback xoxo

Be sure that you withdraw as soon as possible, many institutions do not allow withdrawing beyond a certain point. Mine is the 6th week of the semester. Secondly, as far as the future it shouldn't hurt but in the event that you do need a fine art to get into your program (as I do) it'll just set you back a class. But sounds like you should be good. GOODLUCK :)
