Wish me luck, please!!

I was all set to start nursing school in July and they called today and said they had a spot in the January class (started last week) but it is days and I work days, so tomorrow I have to ask my boss if she will allow me to work a flexible schedule. If she says no then I will be back to waiting until July, but I really want to do this now! So, please keep me in your prayers! Thanks!:redbeathe

Of course I wish you luck as this sounds like something you really want to do, but be very sure that you will be able to catch up on last week's work. Also part of nursing school is sharing the experiences with fellow nursing students and building friendships, so be sure to be open and asking what you missed is a great opportunity to break the ice. =)

Thanks! I appreciate that advice. I have to inform the boss tomorrow, she was in meetings all day today. I have come full circle since last night. I am not asking for the flex schedule, I am telling them I have the opportunity and I am taking it, if they can't accomodate me then I am giving my notice! I start school Thursday and they have assured me that I will be able to catch up. They better be right!:)
