During an admissions process do the officers note if someone has gone above and beyond the minimum requirements? As an example lets say the prerequisite was one semester of Organic Chemistry, and you took two semester of Organic Chemistry. Would this be something working in your favor?

So one important part of college is doing what you are assigned. If you are assigned to write a 8-10 page paper and you write a 20 page paper...you are not following directions. In the Nursing world not following orders is a negative ghostrider. Going "above and beyond" is not following directions. If the school requires X pre reqs then get As in those pre reqs. I suppose taking more classes may not hurt you, but it has nothing to do with admissions. They require what they require. Do what you are assigned to the best of your ability. Good luck man!

Honestly, unless they specifically say they'll "weigh" that on your application, I wouldn't go through that trouble.
