I really want to be a nurse but I'm worried because many of my pre reqs are mostly B's and C's. I have never passed any science class. My maths, social sciences, and histories are a mix of B's and C's. I know its due to my study habits but I want and willing to change. I'm 22 and believe it or not I have been to 3 schools in 4 years. I don't drink or do drugs or party. Its just unfortunate events have happened to along with bad study habits. I know I have the potential to succeed and make A's. My aid is dwindling and now I'm at a crossroads. I want to be an CNA so I can get experience and save money for school. How its looking I wont be able to apply until I'm 25 or 30. I didn't expect things to turn out the way they have. I am one of those people who want to help others and am not pursuing nursing just for money. I just never thought I would have to know so much.

I suggest enrolling into a community college for your ADN and starting over from scratch. Find a CC that will look at pre-req GPA only, and not cumulative, and begin taking all the classes they require for their nursing program. I had a bad cumulative GPA from a university I attended years ago right out of highschool.
I enrolled into a community college to take pre-reqs for their ADN program, and they only look at your GPA from the pre-reqs you are taking to get into their program.
Just make sure you understand and are willing to change the reasons you did so poorly before. Nursing schools are competitive and only top-notch GPA's make it into the programs. If you start over taking pre-reqs again, a transcript full of C's will not cut it. I'd also look into why you were never able to pass an science classes, because you are going to be required to take several science classes. Most of the typical ones required for nursing schools are Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, and Microbiology.
