Will I have enough knowledge to take CPNE

Hi,

I last took an EC nursing exam close to 1 year ago. Will I have enough info from those exams to be prepared for the CPNE. I worry that I will be asked a question regarding a disorder/disease or medication that I may not have the answer to. In the past on EC's discussion board they have said that you don't need that info fresh in your head. What are everyone's thoughts on this that have already taken the CPNE.

Thank you.

As the CPNE is a clinical exam as long as you prepare the material related to the CPNE you should be fine.

i was not asked anything about a disease or a medication by the ce or the patient. you are allowed to bring a drug guide book so you can look up any med. just never say "i don't know." as for the diseases, just try to look up or get familiar with as many as you can and i believe you can use any book in the nursing station as a reference. good luck.
