Will I be able to do it?

Hi everyone. Let me start off by saying this is a GREAT forum! Everyone is so helpful!

I am thinking of a career change. I am planning on applying to LPN school. I am just wondering, if I will be able to learn the skills? Like hanging blood, creating an IV, catheters. I am a smart person. (And a college grad)

I guess I am letting fear get the better of me.

Is LPN school super super hard??

how are your study skills?

In most facilities LPNs dont hang blood. They do start IV's, hang fluids to peripheral lines and insert foley catheters. Skills can be taught, but I dont think anyone will tell you their quest was anything close to a walk in the park. Its work, but if your willing to put in the time to learn what you need to and have the patience and conviction to do the studying, youll be fine.
