Hello,
I am scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN on a Mon. but the Tues. before is available.....I am really stressing out over this test and would love to have it done....I have been taking tests constantly some I do well on and others in the 60's.....my question is in your opinion will the extra 6 days make a huge difference?????
One more question for studying I have been doing questions from MEDS publishing, Kaplan, Mosby index cards and Lippincott since May 19th...as for studying content I really haven't done much of that becuz I think it is near impossible to learn everything...is this an good way to go about it for this test or should I buckle down on content also?
Thank you so much for listening to me rattled on I am just so nervous

Hiya. I honestly don't know about the xtra 6 days as I'm still waiting for my ATT and am almost in the same boat as you are. I think I would opt to take the test sooner rather than later--just to get it over with but only you can make that decision. But it's true, I don't think there is anyway that we can know absolutely everything. I'm pretty nervous as well--I'm sure I'll be a wreck as the time approaches more. Good luck to you!!!

With my experience, good luck will help. I studied really hard for almost two months but when I took the test, was surprised where they got the questions. There was only two questions from med-surg. Who knows, you will be lucky to have questions that you studied. Just relax & pray!

Hey,
I originally schedualed my test for June 13 but I reschedualed for June 2 and then changed it to June 1. So, I ended up studying from May 23 until May 31 and took the test. The test was not bad at all I found that the Saunders questions were harder than the test. It was way easier then the HESI exit exam (if you had to take that). I stayed in the testing center 2 hours and my computer shut off at 77. I didn't come out feeling like I failed I actually felt kind of like I passed but I still had uncertainty. So, I don't think that six days will really make a difference. Just pray about it and pray before, during and after your test. If it is meant for you to pass then it wont matter whether you studied three days or three months. Good luck

Incidentally, I had scheduled my test for 20th June but when i found this tuesday(6th june), I jumped at it because I've been doing questions since graduation early last month from Kaplan and my scores ranged from 68-74 on their question trainer. I also did MOSBY CAT and got a 99% probability of passing NCLEX. I'm sure I'm ready. I had scheduled it a little far 'cos i thought I needed "extra" to finish all the questions. But common, I just graduated and made a final Hesi score of 1117, used the entire Saunders CD. Although I really studied my heart out for that HESI, I believe I learnt most of the stuff by answering more NCLEX questions.
The more I wait, the more I get nervous...so, for me, the earlier, the better...tuesday is it!
Like stated up there, only you know if you are ready...Goodluck
