Who's still waiting?

Gosh, it seems like not many people go on this OK nurses area . I'm waiting on Fall letters to go out, anyone else? Anyone know of any hospitals that have open entry positions as a Nurse Assistant, or as we call it back home... a Patient Coordinater Assistant, one who takes vital signs and assists the Nurses for anything. I dont really care about the pay, I just want to get my foot in the door. Thanks

I am still waiting on my letter and getting fed up!!!!! I want to know because I want to take intercession class beginning in two weeks if I am not going to nursing school in the fall. If I am I need to get the CNA course done. I can't believe they make us wait like this. I applied years ago when I lived in Texas and I knew before I even started to anticipate the letter. (I got in to two schools but #3 pregnancy popped up and didn't even try it.) So, now I'm playing the waiting game.

If you look on websites for Hillcrest Hospital and St. Francis, St. John, in Tulsa you can go to the employment area and find openings for nurses aids. There is always a need for them.

I work in the Tulsa area and there are lots of CNA jobs out there. Don't know if the newspaper { Tulsa World } is free over the net. Also Owasso which is minutes from Tulsa has 2 new smaller hospitals. And Bartlesville is up the road about 30 minutes. Good luck.
