Who got accepted into BSN program at CSU Stanislaus for Fall 2012?

Published

Hi all,

I got accepted into BSN at CSU Stanislaus. I am waiting for the package about the mandatory orientation which takes place on Aug. Is there anyone out there who got accepted into BSN last year? If yes, how do you feel about the program?

All reponses would be much appreciated,

Thanks,

Hey, I got in for Fall 2012 also. What are you going to do about the Medical Terminology Test the first week? Just grab any Medical Terminology book for the summer to study?

Hi,

Nice to meet you! I just used the Medical Terminology book which I used before for my class. How's about you? Did you get any packet from them saying more detail about the orientation???

Hey I was alternate #9 and eventually accepted to Stan's BSN program. I'm also using an old med term book from a class I took to study. Nice to meet you both.

I did not apply since I moved out of CA but I'm just wondering what everyones stats were. Please share your gpa and teas scores and if you are a local and bilingual.

Thanks

Hi,

Nice to meet you all. I am wondering when Stanislaus is gonna send the info packet telling what kind of books and medical supply we have to buy. When can we register for classes?

My stat:

Science : 4.0 GPA

Non-science: 4.0 GPA

Overal: 4.0 GPA

TEAS: 79%

I am bilingual but NOT local

The secretary said we should be receiving the info packet fairly soon and yes we can start registering for first semester classes. I've registered already.

Since I am a transferring student. They told me that I have to attend the orientation first. After that, I can register for the nursing courses. I already finished all major courses, nothing in progress. So, for the 1st semester, I only have 11 units.

Yea as 1st semester students we are allowed to register for Nurs 3700, Nurs 2820, and Nurs 2000 which is 9 units. The pharm class that's listed which I believe is Nurs 2850, we dnt take that 1 this semester. Something about limiting us to 9 units is what the secretary told me.
