Hi, I am currently a student @ Gwinnett Technical College, working on finishing up on my pre-reqs to apply for the nursing program there. However, I have been considering transferring to Georgia Perimeter College instead. Does any one know which schools nursing program is better? I really wanted to get my Bachelors for nursing, but i'm not sure which schools to apply to. In a way i'm kind of scared to apply to a 4-yr college, bc I have a low SAT score, and i'm worried I wouldn't get accepted.
Any advice?

Personal I recommend Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. They have an outstanding and very competitive program, AND no need to take the SAT or ACT. they give u a compass test on campus. www.abac.edu.

If you have more than 30-45 college credits and a minimum GPA required for admission, most colleges/universities will consider you a transfer student and your low SAT score will not be a factor. Don't be scared. Get in touch with the nursing advisors of some of the schools that interest you. The BON website has a list of approved nursing programs in Georgia and which degree they offer. Good luck to you.
