Which one do i start?

Hi fellow members! Im applying for licensure in New york State. I am from Philippines but im already an nclex passer in CAlifornia. here are my questions,

1. Upon reading the requirements, is it okay if i would submit later my application for NEW York and work out first the CVS?

2. Im already married, would it be okay if ill use my husbands surname upon application?

    You need to apply to CGFNS first as the process takes 6 months or longer then apply to NY for a license as an IEN

    For the second question, I believe that you have to use your legal name here in the U.S., the ones in your license, passport etc unless you've already gone through the name change because of marital status.

    I really got confused on name change. My school documents are maiden name..however my license in philippines was changed to my married name. In applying for cvs for new york, what will i use especially the documents that they gonna ask for philippines..pls enlighten me.

    CVS application will ask for married and maiden name, many people get married and then apply for license so everyone is used to doing stuff like this. You just eed to prvide copy of marriage certificate which proves change of name
