Hi All =)
My number one choice was SMU ABSN.... but I feel like california especially in the bay area is so competitive and impacted. So I was considering out of state. I've done some research on the following:
Oregon Health & Science University ABSN
University of Washington ABSN
University of Miami ABSN
New York University ABSN
but what i want to know is if anyone is applying to any of these schools that has any information about how competitive and impacted these schools are... and considerably how 'good' these schools are...
THANKS!

At this point, I don't think it matters much. Maybe in the most rural areas it might not be as competitive as bigger cities but they are probably still competitive in their own right. I think nursing programs are going to be competitive almost anywhere these days, especially in bigger cities and urban areas.

UM is really good but its 39k for the whole program. The staff is great and they have a really great simulator lab. Its pretty competitive. I know a couple of people in my cc that were accepted for the ABSN(I too was accepted but not ABSN) and they didn't have a 4.0 GPA, not even a 3.6.... But they do want good grades and good community hours or something that makes you special.
