When should I start applying for a new job?

Why not apply now and put June in the section where they ask when you are available to start? It's really not all that far away!

I am moving back to my hometown May 28th. I won't want to start my new job until the beginning of June. I really want to work at a doctors office, physicans group, or clinic (with normal working hours). When should I begin applying? I would like to have a job set up by the time I move back. I looked at a couple of website to places I want to work and there are several job openings right now. I don't know how many they will have when it's my time and I'm sort of nervous that they will be filled by then.
